How do we find the space to be creative when we have caring responsibilities or limited time and energy to devote to our creative force? Join WOW as we invite bestselling authors and carers Saima Mir and Kate Mosse for a frank discussion on balancing their creative output with their respective caring responsibilities as a mum of three and carer to an elderly relative.

This intimate session will be packed full of practical tips and advice, as well as giving a fascinating insight into these two critically acclaimed authors' creative lives. Kate – whose books include An Extra Pair of Hands, a rallying cry for carers and the acts of love that hold families together – and Saima will tell us how they do it and share their personal tricks for tapping into your creativity. They’ll also explore how to confront the fear and guilt that often comes with giving ourselves permission to create.

If you’d like to learn how to nurture your creativity with limited time and resources or share a space with other creative carers, this is the session for you. There’s no level of creative experience needed for this session – everyone is welcome.

This event will take place as a Zoom Webinar and there will be plenty of time for your questions. If you can't join live, don't worry - all bookers will be sent a link to watch on catch up for 14 days.

The live event will be live captioned by Stagetext, delivered by My Clear Text.
