WOW - Women of the World Bangladesh celebrates the strength and resilience of women, and encourages debate, positive change and action.

This two-day inclusive festival focuses on the achievements and obstacles women face in Bangladesh and around the world. Women’s stories will be shared, fun had, minds influenced, and hearts expanded.

WOW is a place where hundreds of women’s stories are shared, feelings vented and minds influenced. The festival is for everyone. It brings people together from all corners of society - both speakers and audience members - to energise and provide the inspiration and tools to make change. 

Panel discussions will feature leaders, educators, and commentators from diverse backgrounds and explore topics including colourism and the myths around 'conventional' beauty.

Take a deeper dive into our programme with our interactive workshops, designed to empower women to come together, share awareness and engage in meaningful dialogue. Our workshops covered a wide range of topics, including avoiding toxic parenting, healthy ageing, and much more.

The Festival will also include inspiring performances, thought-provoking exhibitions, and uplifting music concerts. From theatre and dance to visual art and music, WOW Bangladesh will showcase the best and brightest of women's creativity and innovation.

Located in the Main Field, the WOW Bangladesh Marketplace will bring together a diverse range of women-owned businesses, charities, and organisations. They offered beautiful products and unique insights into important issues.

WOW Bangladesh 2023 is organised in partnership with The WOW Foundation. The strategic partners of the festival are the British Council, Mongol Deep Foundation and CCD Bangladesh.
